strength and balance …

with strength comes balance, and with balance comes strength. leave either out and we’re left with almost headstands. i normally can do one of these, but i’m not sure if it was the fear of being on the table, or the massive amount of chicken wings i ate over the weekend that deterred me from accomplishing this feat. the balance was there, but the strength wasn’t. instead of pushing myself through and probably tumbling over, which would have made for an amusing post, i chose to come back down and try another day. on the days we don’t have the strength, it’s ok to take a step back and regroup. on the days we live off balance, it’s ok to forgive ourselves and say, i’m just being human. the days we find ourselves living with both strength and balance though, anything is possible …
